Sunshine State Innovation Games 2027

The Coding Challenge is part of the Sunshine State Innovation Games and gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their programming and computational thinking skills. Participants will compete in a coding competition designed to test logic, problem solving, and algorithmic thinking.

High School

Grades 9-12 · Runtime

A timed coding competition where students solve algorithmic challenges under pressure in a competitive runtime environment.

1–3 students per team

Middle School

Grades 6-8 · Web Projects

Students build original websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that solve a real-world problem or tell a compelling story.

1–3 students per team

Elementary School

Grades 4-6 · Scratch

Students create interactive stories, games, and animations using Scratch, demonstrating creativity and fundamental programming concepts.

1–3 students per team
